The Parkview Golf Club Members’ AGM is an annual collective meeting where members discuss key club matters, financial reports, and future plans. It provides a platform for member engagement, decision-making, and voting on important issues. Club leadership presents updates, and members have the opportunity to voice concerns and suggestions.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the hundred and eighth (108th) Annual General Meeting of members will be held in the Club House on Thursday 20th February 2025 at 18h30, for the transaction of the following business:

1. To confirm the minutes of the 107th Annual General Meeting, held on 29rd February 2024.
2. To receive the report of the Committee on the affairs of the Club for the year ending
   31st October 2024.
3. To receive and consider the Annual Financial Statements to 31st October 2024.
4. To appoint the auditors for the ensuing year.
5. To elect the following office bearers for the ensuing year:
   1. Captain
   2. Vice-Captain
   3. Two Committee Members.

GENERAL

The attention of members is drawn to Rule 24, which reads:

“Nominations for candidates for Captain, Vice-Captain and members of the Committee shall be in writing, signed by ordinary or life members of the Club and endorsed by the candidates stating that he or she consents to serve if elected, and shall be delivered to the Manager no later than seven (7) days before the date of the Annual General Meeting.

Retiring members of the Committee may be nominated as Captain and Vice-Captain, but shall otherwise be eligible for re-election without nomination.

Any candidate for Captain or Vice-Captain shall, if unsuccessful, be eligible for election to the Committee.”
